THE game was abandoned after just 12 minutes’ play after visiting midfielder Jake Hibbs suffered a serious leg injury following a strong challenge with visiting defender Harvey Smith.

With both sides looking for their first win of the season a good game seemed in prospect and the action that preceded Hibbs’ injury saw both sides showing their intent.
