DARLINGTON held on to record their first ever win over league leaders AFC Fylde.
After Fylde started the game at a fast pace, Quakers had the better of the chances in the first half.
Luke Charman nearly put Quakers into the lead with a right-footed volley from a Jarrett Rivers cross that went just wide, then Will Hatfield put a header just over the top from another cross by Rivers from the right.
