PAUL Cox ended his first week in charge with six points and seven goals as Boston United avenged their 4-0 defeat at Chester with a win by the same scoreline at Pilgrim Way.
Luke Shiels opened the scoring with his second goal this week, nodding home in space from a Joe Leesley corner after 15 minutes.
It was two just three minutes later. Danny Elliott did well to keep a through ball in play let alone get it through Louis Gray’s palms and a mixture of Fraser Preston and the defending Simon Grand forced the ball home from inches out.
