Spartans fail to stop losing slide

THIS bottom-five clash between the bottom two in the form table saw Chester end a run of five straight defeats to condemn Blyth to a seventh defeat in eight.
Spartans once again conceded early at home, goalkeeper Alex Mitchell’s second-minute foul on Darren Stephenson saw Rob Apter’s free kick hit the bar, before Matty Williams was on hand to easily convert the rebound.
The Seals doubled their lead with less than 20 minutes on the clock.
