Poppies push into play-off picture

FANS had to wait for the second half for Non-League day to spark into life at Latimer Park, where Kettering relit their playoff hopes with a fine win over Chorley.
Chris Smith gave Ian Culverhouse’s Poppies the lead on 50 minutes before Connor Johnson doubled it a little more than 20 minutes later.
Connr Hall pulled one back but Town held on. A non-entity of a first 45 minutes was punctuated by a strong six minute period for the visitors. Hall blasted a shot over on seven minutes before Manellic Alli forced a brave save from Jackson Smit...
