Pilgrims hit back to halt Avenue

TWO goals in ten minutes turned the tide for Boston United who held on to their top seven spot despite the best efforts of Bradford Park Avenue.
Twenty of the last 36 goals the Pilgrims have conceded have come in the opening half-hour so the United faithful were left with a familiar sense of frustration when Avenue took the lead on 25 minutes.
Joe Leesley dangled a leg as Brad Dockerty skipped passed him inside the edge of the area, and it was the fouled forward who slammed home as Marcus Dewhurst went the wrong way.
