BLYTH earned a vital win to dispel any lingering relegation worries as Brackley Town warmed up for their play-offs campaign by suffering only a fifth defeat of the season.
Neither side created many clear-cut goal chances, but it was the visitors who produced a moment of quality that ultimately separated the sides.
In the first half Brackley were denied the lead by a post as the ball was scrambled clear and a number of corner kick for both sides came to nothing.
