Poppies’ balloon bursts with draw

KETTERING missed out on the playoffs after they failed to win.
Decarrey Sheriff’s late equaliser counted for little after Jordan Richards gave Curzon Ashton the lead.
Early on Curzon keeper Chris Renshaw did well to get low to his left to stop a great effort by an onrushing Callum Stead in the tenth minute.
However, as the first half went on Curzon started to grow into the game. The home side had particularly good chances from Jordan Richards great corner delivery. Set pieces have been a good source of goals for Curzon this season.
