KING’S LYNN TOWN scored a goal in either half to make it back-to-back wins at the start of the new National League North season.
Leading through Michael Clunan’s first-half strike, Lynn doubled their advantage through Theo Widdrington after a nervy start to the second half.
Linnets boss Tommy Widdrington called on his side to start on the front foot on a baking hot afternoon – and they did just that by taking an early lead at The Walks.
