A FIERY clash saw both sides reduced to ten men and several injuries.
The hosts suffered most in the former regard, losiing influential players Adam Blakeman and skipper Scott Leather. Avenue also lost Simon Richman after eight minutes. Both sides finished with ten following bad-tempered confrontations but Bradford deserve full credit for battling throughout the second half a man short.
