THIS tight, keenly-contested game, so typical of meetings between these teams, was a slow-burner, only catching fire after the interval. Brackley will be the happier side with a point from a resolute, disciplined rearguard action that denied the more dangerous hosts full points.
The visitors defended their area solidly, getting bodies in the way of several goalbound attempts in a livelier second half.
