SCARBOROUGH Athletic took the bragging rights in the first Yorkshire derby of the season.
The Seadogs have acclimatised to life in the National League North superbly, and saw off a Farsley side stuck towards the bottom of the division.
Jonathan Greening’s side, full of confidence, started the brightest and took the lead as Kieran Weledji diverted a Lewis Maloney cross past Max Dearnley.
