Rhead is spot-on after debutant makes mark

ALFRETON TOWN beat Brackley Town for the first time in eight meetings thanks to a first-half Matt Rhead penalty.
The former Lincoln City forward was as busy as ever and almost gave his side the lead, but Danny Lewis batted the striker’s header away from goal.
The corner didn’t trouble the Brackley defence, but Dwayne Wiley fired a long-range shot back in that drifted wide.
Ahmed Salam, who was making his debut for the Reds on loan from Hull City, almost popped up with a goal, but his header found the roof of the net.
