CHORLEY had to grind out what in the end was a comfortable victory over a hard-working Kettering, who offered stubborn, resistance but, once behind, rarely looked capable of saving the game.
The first half was a non-event with little incident to rouse the crowd. The visitors, however, produced the best effort on goal, a snap-shot from distance by Keaton Ward that Matt Urwin got down well to save.
