BIG VICTORY FOR BUCKS IS CEMENTED BY GRANITE

THREE first-half goals from Tom Elliott, Joe Ackroyd and Josh Granite gave Buxton a comfortable win at Banbury United.
The first chance fell to Banbury when Joe Iaciofano shot wide. On four minutes Buxton won a corner, Jack McCourt crossed and Elliott headed over Ben Taylor to take the lead.
A fierce shot from Granite was deflected for a corner. Buxton made it 2-0 after 38 minutes when a cross from Elliott to the far post saw Ackroyd head home to put Buxton in control. With three minutes remaining, Ackroyd shot right over the Banbury goal. Banbu...
