CHESTER and Chorley played out a dour goalless draw at the Deva Stadium, which at times in the second half would have delighted any insomniacs who were present.
Unfortunately play was held up on two separate occasions towards the end of the match when “supporters” encroached onto the pitch.
The second incident was the more serious, a man not only encroaching onto the field, but also picking up a flare that had been thrown onto the pitch then lobbing back into a seated area where a number of Chorley fans had congregated, a mindless act...
