Tigers thwarted by heroics of Puritans’ Jack the lad

GLOUCESTER CITY were held to a draw with Banbury United despite a barrage of attacks, with Jack Harding pulling off several top saves to keep the scores level.
Steve King’s Tigers took the lead inside the first minute when Tope Obadeyi’s low cross put it on a plate for Kieran Phillips to convert, before the young striker was denied a second just a few minutes later by Harding.
City were relentless in their search for a second.
