DARLINGTON missed out on the play-offs despite a final day victory.
Peterborough Sports looked to finish their maiden season in the National League North on a high, by aiming to get a result against a Darlington side who were hoping to sneak into the play-off spots.
It was the Quakers who had the first real chance of the game when Jacob Hazel was found unmarked at the back post but he drove his shot into the ground and it went flying over the bar.
