SOUTH Shields secured a victory in their first ever National League North fixture after a dominant second-half display against Alfreton Town in front of a 2,000-strong crowd. Goals from new frontman Aaron Martin and Shaun Brisley tied things up, but brilliant strikes from debutant Jed Abbey sealed the win for Julio Arca’s team.
