MARK JONES’ new-look Banbury United got back-to-back victories in the space of a week with this hard-fought win.
United started on the front foot and took the lead after two minutes. Aidan Elliott-Wheeler and Craig Hewitt worked an opening on the left, with Tope Obadeyi scoring on the turn from six yards out.
Chester had a bit opportunity to equalise when Iwan Murray, one-on-one with keeper Jack Harding, was denied.
