BUXTON achieved their first victory of the season, over third-placed Blyth Spartans, and two-goal man-of-the-match Sam Osborne enjoyed a successful return after pre-season injury.
The early exchanges were even, but visiting captain Nicky Deverdics shot weakly at Max Dearnley from close range.
