HEREFORD slipped to their first home defeat under Paul Caddis as Ben Fowkes’ first-half strike settled the encounter in the visitors’ favour.
Although Hereford had plenty of the first-half play, it was Sports who carved out by far the better chances to lead at the break. On 14 minutes it took an excellent save by home keeper Curtis Pond to deny Roddy McGlinchey after the Sports player surged into the box.
