■ BURY TOWN were ruth as they easily swept less aside a poor Stowmarket outfit at Greens Meadow as they moved up to seventh in the standings.
The defeat means Stowmarket have taken just one point from their opening five fixtures and Richard Wilkins’ side will be without Bradley Bryne for their upcoming matches after he saw red.
Luke Brown made the visitor’s first-half pressure pay when he opened the scoring in the 43rd minute and just 11 minutes after the break, Brown bagged his brace to double the Blues lead.
