THIS was a game that didn’t come to life until an enforced stoppage which seemed to kick the visitors into a gear.
From the restart, George Ironton got onto the end of a long throw to put Walthamstow into the lead, and it looked like they might kick-on.
But that didn’t happen, with Heybridge trying to get some luck from the wide areas, but goalkeeper Matthew Nolan catching everything that came his way.
