■ BURY got themselves back on track with an improved performance over Witham Town.
Bury took an early lead through Luke Brown, whose effort from distance went in off the far post in the tenth minute.
The home side doubled their lead after 23 minutes when a quick attack saw Jose Santa De La Paz power through into the box, before a shove in the back from Joe Alatise sent him to the ground.
Luke Brown sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to score from the spot.
Ed Upson scored from the loose ball to give Bury a comfortable victory.
