Steadfast Linnets lift a little of the gloom

KING’S LYNN TOWN lifted some of the gloom around The Walks by picking up a point against Warrington Town.
On a day where chairman Stephen Cleeve revealed that he hasn’t got the £300,000 needed to keep the club afloat this season, Lynn ended a run of four defeats against the mid-table Yellows.
The Linnets kept their first clean sheets in 14 attempts under Adam Lakeland. But once again, the lack of a cutting edge was evident – three chances went begging in the first 15 minutes.
