THREE major decisions by referee Robert Claussen had a drastic effect on a game between two sides struggling in the table’s lower reaches, transforming it into a second-half thriller.
The Linnets seized the intiative with a six minute opener. Aaron Powell sold Luke Shiels a perfect dummy on the right and from his cut-back, Ben Stephens netted from six yards at the near post.
However, on the half hour, Stephens was then sent off for a lunge on midfielder Max Brogan.
