LAMBS EXTEND LEAD AT THE TOP

TABLE-TOPPING Tamworth extended their lead at the summit with a victory at relegation-threatened Darlington, Ben Acquaye scoring the only goal of the game.
It was a game of few chances and low on entertainment, but Tamworth did just enough to secure a seventh win in a row.
Their goal came on 12 minutes following a throw-in by Thomas Tonks that was defended weakly by Darlington, allowing Acquaye to drill the ball home.
