LAMBS GO 12 POINTS CLEAR

IN FRONT of a bumper home crowd, manager of the month Andy Peaks saw Tamworth’s unbeaten run extend to 12 games, as the gap at the top of the table opened to 12 points.
Peaks’ side had to play most of the second half with ten men against tenacious opponents led by player-boss Clayton Donaldson.
The only real chance of the first half came on 26 minutes, when Lambs captain Ben Milnes ran on to an incisive through ball, but his low finish was denied by keeper Zan-Luk Leban.
