Jeffers punishes Peacocks

SHAUN JEFFERS and St Albans City ran riot as they saw off Taunton Town.
The hosts came out of the blocks brightly and took the lead inside five minutes, as Jeffers latched on to a through ball and dinked over Dan Lavercombe.
The forward doubled his tally 10 minutes later with another smart finish, this time deftly turning home Jack James’ delivery.
Taunton had a brief sight of goal not long after, but Rabby Tabu Minzamba saw his strike cleared off the line.
