Walton double sees Port ensure safety

SOUTHPORT guaranteed National League North survival thanks to goals from Tyler Walton (two) and Festus Arthur.
Rushall Olympic could still be relegated on the final day although their goal difference should keep them up even if they lose at home to Warrington.
The Sandgrounders took the lead on the stroke of half-time when a superb cross ball from Richie Bennett was neatly nodded home by Walton.
It was the same combination again in the 49th minute leading to Walton scoring with an excellent finish.
