MAGPIES DIG IN TO DENY HOOPS

OXFORD CITY were denied a first National League North win of the season as Chorley came back from two goals down to earn a point.
For the second week in a row, a fast start saw the scoring opened inside four minutes, and it came as a gift as Matt Urwin’s clearance on the edge of his box only found Andre Burley who simply slotted into the empty net.
The dominant hosts doubled the lead on the half hour as great work down the right saw Josh Ashby square the ball for Corie Andrews to smash past Urwin into the roof of the net.
