SOUTHPORT end a run of three successive defeats with a win at home over Buxton.
After starting with three wins from three, Buxton now find themselves winless in the last three games
After 14 minutes the first shot on target resulted in a goal. A well-worked move through the middle resulted in Danny Lloyd finding Sonny Hilton who scored his first goal for the Sandgrounders.
Buxton responded within minutes after Josh Williams and Josh Popoola combine on the left which saw the latter cut inside into the 18-yard box and curl a brilliant effort past...
