OXFORD City finally tasted victory in National League North.
Sam Cox’s Hoops had success early in the game through set-pieces, with Cole Kpekawa twice coming close as he saw a header cleared off the line, before another hit the crossbar. Their dominance at set-pieces continued and on 24 minutes a wide free-kick from Josh Ashby saw Josh Parker left in space to guide a header into the bottom corner and give City the lead.
Just minutes later, good work from Rylee Mitchell set Lewis Coyle away down the left and the ball eventually fell...
