■ BRENTWOOD Town were held to a goalless draw by Waltham Abbey.
The Blues went close to taking the lead when Benas Vaivada set up Mekhi McKenzie, but his effort flew just wide of the right post.
A header from Connor Hogan went narrowly wide before Abbey’s Kymani Thomas also went close.
Kai Brown threatened to score after the break, but his shot was saved by Bradley Robinson.
The Blues continued to chase the opener, and a cross from Jon Nzengo was met Vaivada, whose effort was tipped over the bar.
