DANNY DOUBLE HITS THE BRAKES

A DOUBLE by AFC Fylde loanee Danny Ormerod took Chorley back to the top of the league but the Magpies were made to work hard for their win by spirited Leamington.
The Brakes gave as good as they got in the first half but after equalising the Magpies’ opening goal, they were undone by a cracking Ormerod strike just before the interval.
They were unable to maintain momentum and Chorley were solid in defence and tenacious in midfield to hang on to the points.
