SOUTH Shields failed to enter the play-off spots as the Turbines’ six-game unbeaten run continued following a disappointing collapse for the home side.
Shields had scored nine goals in their last two games and were ahead early on when Lucas De Bolle, after a great one-two with Kyle Crossley, fired past Peter Crook to put the Mariners in the box seat.
