Quakers can thank Jameson for point

TEN-MAN Darlington battled for a point against promotion rivals Curzon Ashton on a day when there was one red card but could easily have been two.
Quakers goalkeeper Peter Jameson was man of the match, pulling offseveral fine saves though from a free-kick it was Darlington captain Tom Platt who headed offthe goal-line to stop Curzon going 1-0up.
The hosts almost made the breakthrough moments later: Will Hatfield was narrowly wide with a low first-time effort.
