BOTH sides earned a well-contested point in this mid-table encounter as the Mariners clawed themselves level at the death.
Shields called Boro keeper Ryan Whitley into action early on after Mackenzie Heaney drove forward on the counter before switching a ball onto the left for Kyle Crossley, whose shot across goal was stopped by Whitley’s foot.
