SCUNTHORPE UNITED kept up the pressure on leaders Chester with a hard-fought success over Scarborough Athletic.
Callum Roberts’ 16th goal of the season and Carlton Ubaezuonu’s first for the club earned the Iron a fifth victory in six games, and meant Harry Green’s brilliant late free-kick proved nothing more than a consolation.
“We controlled the game and looked dangerous from a lot of our attacks,” Iron boss Andy Butler said.
