KING’S Lynn Town restored some pride after a testing week as they ended something of a goal drought with a big win.
Defeats at Darlington and Kidderminster had left the question if Lynn – who had failed to score in three of their last four games – were genuine play-off contenders.
First-half goals from Gold Omotayo and Jonny Margetts put the home team in control, sandwiched between a Mariners equaliser, before Omotayo registered his second two minutes from time to wrap it up.
