MANAGER Tom Rothery celebrated his new two-year contract by beating Rushall Olympic to keep Needham Market’s survival hopes flickering.
Needham had a good spell of possession as Luke Ingram’s exquisite cross just evaded Tommy Smith running in at close range. Kyle Hammond exploited space to shoot on the edge of the box but Nathan Cameron blocked the shot on 36 minutes, while the hosts flashed a low shot narrowly wide a minute later.
