Chants of “Bucks are going up” rang around the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium after Buxton’s rampant 6-0 victory over Derbyshire rivals Alfreton Town.
Five of Buxton’s goals came before the half-hour mark. A double for Kieran Burton, as well as goals from Oliver Greaves, Luke Brennan, Tai Sodje and Ryan McLean summed up what was a dominant display from the Bucks.
