DEFENCES dominated as Bath City and Dagenham & Redbridge couldn’t be separated.
Will Jenkins Davies and George Gitau exchanged half-chances before the Daggers created the first clear opening.
In a rare defensive lapse from the hosts, the ball fell kindly to Andy Carroll but the former England international dinked wide of the grounded Harvey Wiles-Richards when he should have scored.
City started the second half positively with Jenkins Davies skewing wide from a scramble after his initial corner.
