TORQUAY UNITED moved up to third as goals from Callum Dolan and a Will de Havilland own goal earned the Gulls victory.
The lively Jordan Young proved particularly elusive for the Magpies’ defence.
Young had seen a second-minute shot cleared off the line by De Havilland and went close again midway through the period with a shot from distance.
With the Magpies misfiring in the final third, the Gulls deservedly took the lead five minutes before half-time when Dolan smashed a low shot from distance beyond Jordi Van Stappe...
