MACCLESFIELD made an emotional return to action at a packed out Leasing.com Stadium for the first time since the tragic passing of Ethan McLeod. Touching tributes were made before kick-off.
Macclesfield believed they’d taken the lead just ten minutes in via Danny Elliott, only to be denied by the referee’s whistle due to a foul.
