It’s doubles delight for Danns’ men

FIVE-STAR Southport put in a finishing clinic as Neil Danns’ side moved up to 18th in the table.
With both sides in need of three points it was a fast start at Haig Avenue, visitors Hereford threatening early. Debutant George Pickford in Southport’s goal was tested several times in the first half but was assured.
Despite creating fewer chances it was the Sandgrounders who took the lead.
A corner was kept alive by Malakai Mckenzie, whose header deflected to Chris Sze who instinctively finished past Theo Richardson.
