Retiring Roberts on hand to save Blues

A GOAL in the eighth minute of added time by Chester’s Fin Shrimpton gave them a thrilling victory and presented caretaker boss Connell Rawlinson with the first win of his managerial career.
Chester’s Dylan Mottley-Henry registered after ten minutes, after keeper Rory Watson had spilt an effort from Shrimpton.
The hosts could have doubled their lead. Nathan Woodthorpe curled wide, Lewis Leigh fired wide from 15 yards, and man of the match Kevin Roberts had a close-range effort cleared off the line by Aidan Rutledge.
