IT WAS another tough defeat for the Silkmen in their penultimate home game as an invigorated Spennymoor secured a comfortable victory and three valuable points on the road in their push for a play-off spot.
Spennymoor made a breakthrough within the opening five minutes. Tyler Hill caught out the Silkmen backline with a lofted cross, allowing Corey McKeown to power past Rogan Ravenhill.
