Bucks find top form before home clash

BUXTON secured a home tie in the play-offs with a convincing victory over already relegated Leamington, setting up a clash with Scarborough Athletic on Tuesday evening.
Early on, the Bucks had a golden chance to take the lead after eight minutes when Leamington’s goalkeeper gifted possession to Connor Kirby, who chose to square it to Cian Coleman, but his effort flew over the bar.
The home side took the lead in the 11th minute as Luke Brennan won a free-kick, which Kirby stepped up to take, his effort deflecting into the net off the wall to make it 1-0.
